Friday, June 8th, 2012  TABLOID DAY  Students will participate in the annual tabloid events in the afternoon.


Monday, June 25th, 2012  FIELD TRIP to Austin Pioneer Village.

FOSTER CHILD FUNDRAISER

We will be collecting toys for the toy sale this week (April 2nd to 5th).  Money raised by the sale will be used to support our foster children.  Students are asked to bring some toys they would want to sell.  They can also purchase new toys when we hold the sale.

Home Reading

Students started their home reading today.  Everyone should have brought home a book.  Many students have been reading on Raz-Kids.    The time you spend reading with your child is greatly appreciated.  The more they read they better they will get.  Remember to stop and check for understanding and have them retell the story after they have read it.

Raz-Kids

All students are registered with Raz-Kids.  The notes went home last night and there were some very excited children this morning.  Students can listen to the stories at their reading level and practice reading them aloud.  They can also do comprehension question but you may need to read the questions to them.
